Therefore, with water heating, there is no more formation of calcium carbonate (calcite) which leads to scale deposits. On the contrary, AMICA allows the formation of a new crystal, the aragonite, which is totally harmless, and which does not deposit thus preventing the formation of incrustations. M.A.I.C. products, and now also AMICA products, are the only physical water softners which, thanks to the original magnets position, are able to generate many magnetic fields having alternate polarity. Only in this way the orientation of charges of dissolved salts split them into positive and negative ions.
